What we do

Executive Search

Following your company's acceptance of a search proposal, RTA will visit you for a comprehensive briefing. This includes detailed discussion of the job and person specification; organisation structure; company culture and USPs; target companies and people; sources of information; NOGO areas; salary and benefits; reporting arrangements; potential problems; timescale and exclusivity. The search then begins.

A typical process is shown below

TYPICAL PROGRAMME

  • After the briefing RTA drafts Information Packs for your approval
  • A network of contacts is developed using a wide variety of sources, building on an extensive current network and database from previous searches
  • Potential candidates are identified, contacted and evaluated for their suitability and interest in the opportunity. Regular feedback is given to your company
  • Promising candidates are selected and interviewed by RTA, face-to-face whenever possible
  • Candidates are assessed and ranked using an objective scoring system based on your company's stated key competencies
  • Within 6 weeks you will receive a detailed short-list of the outstanding candidates. Alternatively, candidates can be 'drip fed'.
  • RTA can help you to organize client interviews and will fully brief candidates. Post interview candidate feedback is given to you
  • RTA can broker salary and contract negotiations and help to persuade candidates to accept an offer
  • Contact with the appointee is maintained by RTA during the first 6 months of his/her employment

COSTS

Fees are flexible and negotiable according to specific circumstances.

A typical fee structure is :-

30% of appointee's basic salary, payable in 3 equal instalments:

I Commissioning fee, 10%, payable on commencement of the search
II Shortlist fee, 10%, payable only on your acceptance of the short-list
III Appointment fee, 10% payable when a candidate accepts the appointment

Should an offer be rejected, the search will normally be continued until successful, for no further fee.

Should a candidate leave voluntarily or be dismissed within the first 6 months of his or her appointment, a rebate of half the appointment fee is given.
